Itaewon is a neighborhood (dong) located in the district of Yongsan-gu, Seoul, South Korea. Around 22 thousand people living in Itaewon.
Itaewon is famous for the tourists and U.S. military personnel stationed in South Korea. There are many foreign restaurants opened by foreigners in Itaewon, such as immigrants from India, Thailand, Middle East and Mexico. In Itaewon Seoul Central Mosque was also there, the largest mosque in South Korea.
